The coronavirus that has been spreading throughout the world over recent months has seen a Paris blockchain event postponed due to the outbreak.
On an announcement released on the 2nd of March, the Paris Blockchain Week Summit was initially meant to take place from March 31st to April 1st but is now expected to take place from December 9th-10th. Due to the guidelines issued by the French government, organisers were forced to postpone the event because of the coronavirus.
The announcement has further said that the conference will proceed as expected with the venue, schedule and setup staying the same.
Some of the speakers expected to participate in the event include French Economy Finance Minister, Bruno Le Maire, Binance cryptocurrency platform CEO and co-founder Changpeng Zhao and Brave Browser chief scientist, Ben Livshits.
Both traditional markets and crypto markets have had an impact thanks to the coronavirus. The flagship cryptocurrency has been affected in its price due to the outbreak. Even Chinese cryptocurrency mining has been forced to shut down because of what could become a pandemic.
