I just built a game of roulette that anyone can play on chain!

It's really easy to play, you just have to send a transaction to the roulette's address with your bet as a comment.

Then a server that I'm running is checking this address, it will use some parameters of the transactions (such as hash, timestamp, etc...) to generate a random number between 0 and 36 and compute the results of your bet.
In only few seconds, it will send you back a transaction with your potential rewards and the result of the draw.

It's not a fully decentralized app yet because of the server, but everything is on chain so everyone can check!

Here is a Google Sheet with bets in real time, full instructions on how to play and a bet maker to help you create the correct transaction.

So to play, just send a transaction to vite_573405bb4fe1f72ebec80fc367cdd767a9c139523b8d850168 with your bet as a comment. For example you can comment "red" to bet on red or "20" to bet on 20.

The minimum bet is 1 VITE, and for the moment I limited the maximum earnings to 1000 VITE to avoid someone emptying the bank. It is also possible to make several bets in one transaction, I let you read the full instructions on the spreadsheet to learn how it works.

The rules are the same as the traditional European roulette.

I updated SBP and the Roulette game. Now that the official SBPs are going offline, I think it's a great opportunity for the Vite.Casino's SBP to enter the top25 and offer great bonuses to players!

Voters will now get a +0.05% daily ROI! This could change in the future because I'm actually going to redistribute more than what the SBP will be making. Voting with 10k VITE will give you the right to receive 5 VITE per day!

However, to actually receive the voting rewards, you'll need to play the Roulette game. You will receive the payout as a cashback on your losses. This is how it works:

• First you need to vote for Vite.Casino.
  The server will compute your daily cashback for the next cycle (+0.05% of your voting amount).

  For every bet you lose, you'll receive your cashback in the limit of your voting weight.

This means it's the only place where you can play Roulette with an actual edge on the house!

It's not directly on the app as I'm not linked to the official VITE team but you can just play by sending a transaction to the mentioned address, using any VITE wallet.

For example if you send 10 with the comment "RED", it will place a bet on RED for 10 VITE. Then the result will be drawn and you will receive 20 if you win and 0 if you lose.

I hope it's clearer!

The maximum bonus for the biggest backer is 3% (for the moment). For example, a bet of 100 on Red, would give 203 for a win and 3 for a loss.

The hedge from the house at roulette is 2.70%, it means that the biggest backer will actually have a positive expectation at the game!

If the biggest backer votes with 100k and you vote with 50k, your playing bonus will be of 50 / 100 * 3% = 1.5%.

The weight of the player is computed as the maximum of the three last past cycles, so you have to wait one day after starting to vote to be eligible for the bonus. You can check your current bonus for backers on the spreadsheet, as well as past bets and instructions:
