The Vite community now encompasses 15 different language groups. As a way to recognize and incentivize our current team of amazing community managers, we are launching a monthly community manager "Superstar" program.
This program is open to all community managers who are responsible for managing a non-English language group, including on-trial managers and volunteers.
This competition will start from May, and due on the last day of each month. You will need to submit a report in the Vite forum that describes your contribution to the Vite language group during the course of the month. The Vite Labs team will review each report and select the community manager of the month based on both your performance as well as your report. (Similar to how we select weekly SBP)
For example, contributions may include (but are not limited to):
The winner will receive a reward of 2,500 VITE for that month.
Vite Labs encourages each manager to create his or her own airdrop activities (maximum once a month). If you choose to do so, please send your proposal and budget to me for getting approval.
Community managers must send a report under "Superstar Community Manager Election" page on forum before the last day of each month. Vite's team will announce the winner in the 1st week of each following month.
The title of the report should be: [Superstar Election] Your language Group - Month Year. For example: [Superstar Election] Russian Group - April 2019.
As part of our international expansion effort to attract and involve a wider, global audience, we're looking for people who speak both English and other language(s) to join our communication and outreach team!
Currently, we have community managers who speak Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Arabic, and German. We want more!
Below is a list of just some of the languages that we're looking for:
Are we missing any? You tell us.
With this role, you will be moderating and supporting different language-specific channels on our telegram group. Beyond moderating community channels, we want someone who can:
If you're interested, please fill out this form and our team will reach out if you're selected.
Look forward to hearing all your responses!

ViteX, the new decentralized exchange created by Vite Labs, will be live in April of 2019!
As a meaningful component of Vite’s full ecosystem of products, ViteX is developed on the Vite public chain and features absolute decentralizations, higher security of digital assets and robust economic models for both sending/receiving transactions and confirming transactions. See the end of this article for more details about the Vite blockchain.
Initially, ViteX will allow trading for these coins: VITE, BTC, ETH and USDT. Anyone can list their tokens on ViteX and our community can certainly do so as they build on the Vite public chain. VITE tokens will be available to trade with pairings of VITE/BTC, VITE/ETH and VITE/USDT as soon as our decentralized exchange is launched in the near future.
Unlike other decentralized exchanges that are semi-decentralized, ViteX is a completely decentralized system.
Transactions matching engine is realized by Smart Contract of Vite Chain. All orders will be completed through the chain and the order book will be stored on it, which make the completely decentralization come true.
Bonus of transaction fees will be distributed through Vite Chain to keep the result completely public and the rules unable to change.
The private key is kept by the user himself, and no one can misappropriate the user’s assets.
ViteX is developed on top of Vite Chain, with features including high throughput, fast confirmation, zero gas cost, multi coins model, cross-chain gateway, and others. All these characteristics help deliver a user experience close to that of a central exchange, with none of its problems of course.
Trading to Earn VX
A user that executes a transaction on ViteX will receive VX tokens accordingly.
Dividends for VX Holders
All transaction fees and other income created by ViteX will be totally distributed to the holders of VX tokens. The rules for distributing these proceeds will be written in smart contracts, so they are unchangeable.
Openness to the Community
Anyone can list their own cryptocurrency on the ViteX exchange, as long as they comply with the agreements of Vite and ViteX. The community has 100% autonomy over forging tokens, building cross-chain gateways and listing trading pairs. Also, ViteX’s order book is fully open via API, which allows community users and partners to launch their own exchanges based on ViteX’s liquidity.
Uniqueness of VX
There is no private sale, public crowd sale, pre-mining or pre-sales of VX. VX is only earned through mining, which means confirming transactions on ViteX. By holding VX, users enjoy dividends in the form of transaction fees and other income garnered through ViteX.
Vite’s ecosystem of products includes the following:
And these products are in turn empowered by these capabilities:
As always, our development is open source and we encourage community members to give their own input. Such input can be given through our GitHub, Vite Forum and social media channels listed below:

Bittrex International is a leading cryptocurrency exchange based in the United States. As of January 15th at 9:30 AM PST, VITE is confirmed for listing on this trading platform. Bittrex is renowned for its daily trading volume, reputation for security and focus on regulatory compliance.
In mid-2018, Vite Labs closed funding through institutional capital without conducting a public crowd sale (ICO). Within six months, we built a team of 40 people in Beijing, Sunnyvale and San Francisco. We never outsourced talent and conducted no cosmetic marketing; our team insisted on doing the right thing and, this is attitude of honesty and humility is paying off.
2018 was marked by speculative projects and investments, culminating in the recent bear market which we know as Crypto Winter. Bear markets are good for solid companies with sound technologies; we treat market volatility, including downturns in the overall blockchain industry, as positive moments in which mediocrity and hype are decimated.
We have a decentralized ecosystem of blockchain solutions: a web wallet, iOS and Android wallets, decentralized exchange (DEX), online store powered by VITE, payment infrastructure without time lags nor fees, point of sale (POS) solution for merchants, smart contracts, one-click token issuance and a platform for decentralized applications (dApp).
Our Test Net officially launched in November of 2018 and we expect our Main Net significantly ahead of schedule. Overall, our product team expedited the technical roadmap by an entire year.
As a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) and Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) based blockchain, we had to address known security issues of DAG. Consequently, we invented the Snapshot Chain which is an overall ledger of all chains at the Local Consensus level (smart contracts and individual accounts) that maintains Global Consensus regardless of vulnerabilities within each smart contract and account.
We focus on public sector and academic demographics because they control policy and education. It is commonly known that blockchain is applicable to enterprise use cases, particularly payment solutions, but we believe in serving a larger cause for mass adoption.
By educating and assisting governments, specifically for blockchain adoption and investment, we hope to accelerate mass adoption on a socially meaningful level.
By training and resourcing academics, particularly students and professors, we hope to create newly minted developers and curricula for blockchain mass adoption.
Our partnership with the City of Syracuse Innovation Office, through Startup-In-Residence, is a manifestation of our belief in proving social use cases. We are exploring the utility of blockchain in creating a peer to peer micro loan platform to connect low income renters with people willing to provide short term loans without interest, for security deposits and other emergency housing funds. We are among 40 companies selected from 700 to work with 22 governments.
Within a week of launching the Vite TestNet, we added around 30 SBPs. Thank you all for your participation!
In order to further motivate SBPs to develop their own ecosystem, and reduce the challenges in operating a SBP, we are releasing an SBP ecosystem incentive plan, which consists of three parts: Cost Reduction, Resource Sharing, and Additional Rewards.
Lower requirement for server configuration. After recent tests of SBP operations, we are adjusting our recommendation for server configuration. We deem that the previous configuration of 8-core 16G RAM is no longer necessary. We have found that, a server with 4-core 8G RAM is able to run stably.
The requirement of 100M bandwidth has also been updated. It is currently recommended that the SBP can be based on dynamic bandwidth. In terms of future stress test, there may be an increase in traffic. You will be notified to prepare for any bandwidth.
To help SBPs grow, Vite Labs will provide assistance in the following manner:
Additional rewards will be provided on a weekly and monthly basis. And ranking of contributions will also be released for SBPs that are helpful to the community.
Weekly rewards. We will provide rewards for marketing of Vite, growth of its community and development of the ecosystem. We will be accepting submissions for proposals of contribution ideas to the Vite Foundation. If approved, you will receive double one full week’s worth of block-producing rewards (see our Medium post for an explanation). We will showcase both your proposal and your reward to the entire Vite community.
Monthly rewards. In addition, every month, we will select the top TWO entries from all approved projects. These projects will each receive an additional reward equivalent to their block producing reward in that month.
Ranking of contribution. We will also reward points to approved projects. Rankings of points received by projects will be posted to all communities, and approved projects will be announced on the official website. Initially, the awarding of points will be judged by Vite Labs. In the future, such responsibility will be handed off to the community.
Below see more details of what proposals will be accepted, a schedule for rewards releases, and details for launching the additional rewards program.
Submissions of Proposals
The above SBP community building incentive plan is only open for the SBPs that have submitted an application form through vite.org, and whose SBPs are currently in operation. If no SBP application has been submitted, or the SBP is not currently running, please complete those requirements prior to submitting a proposal. After the requirements have been fulfilled, contact the Vite Foundation through the email noted on the application form.
There will be a sponsorship function open on the SBP website. Each SBP will need to submit an address in order to receive tokens. Everyone in the community is encouraged to endorse to all SBPs.
SBPs will have the opportunity to submit their community building proposal to the Vite Forum by 11:59pm of every Wednesday. The result will be announced every Friday. On the first day of the second week, the calculation of the doubled rewards will last for seven days. Such rewards will be released on Monday of the third week of the month.
Projects approved will be posted on the SBP webpage. The corresponding SBP credits will be added according to the type of contribution.
Rewards will go directly to the beneficiary address of the SBPs. (Proposals can be submitted in advance, or it can be submitted afterwards. However, credit will be reduced if the submitted proposal is not executed)
Every month, we will select the top TWO entries from all approved projects. These projects will each receive an additional reward equivalent to their block producing rewards in that month.
Launch of Additional Rewards
The 1st proposal will start on the week of December 17. SBPs have to submit proposals to Vite Forum before December 19.
Please make sure that the subject of your post follows this format:
Title: [SBP Proposal] [SBP Name] — [Proposal Date] — [Headline of Proposal]
(Example: [SBP Proposal] Vite_SBP02 — Dec 13, 2018 — How to grow Vite community in Southeast Asia)
Content: Photos + words. Please briefly describe the project. The project may be a future project, an ongoing effort, or something that you already completed. In addition, please also describe why your project offers unique and significant value to the Vite ecosystem. If it is a long-term project, please highlight the roadmap and past milestones.
The reward program only lives in the Vite TestNet. There may be revisions to the rules in the future. Vite Labs reserves the right of final interpretation of the rules.
